All in one Mazda, 2012 cars – Peek at the company’s all-new 2012 Mazda CX-5 small crossover ahead of its debut at September’s Frankfurt Auto Show. The automaker’s new “Kodo” design language and relies on a host of SkyActiv engine and transmission options. The Mazda CX-5 is set to debut in Frankfurt on 2012  September 13, and the CUV is confirmed for sale in the North American market.

Mazda’s engineers focused on achieving exceptional environmental performance for a compact SUV and targeted CO2 emissions of less than 120g/km for the SKYACTIV-D 2.2 engined model*. The CX-5 is also the first production model to showcase Mazda’s new design theme, ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’, which was previewed with the Mazda SHINARI and Mazda MINAGI concept cars.

The CX-5 is the first of a new generation of Mazda products that will adopt the full range of Mazda’s breakthrough SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and the new design theme, ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’.
